Noto Estate is a real estate agency that owns premium-class office buildings across Europe. Previously, Noto Estate provided office spaces to large companies on a long-term rental basis. However, due to COVID, many of their clients no longer require traditional office spaces.

Now Noto is considering how to transform its current business model. All office spaces remain in excellent condition and are fully equipped with the necessary infrastructure. Noto can offer spaces of any size, each designed to support safe and flexible work during pandemic conditions.

Challenge: Design a digital service that enables users to easily book office space for short-term rentals (from 1 to 30 days).
My Role: I handled the full UX research process — from defining research goals and conducting user interviews to synthesizing insights and identifying user problems. Based on the research outcomes, I generated solution concepts, validated ideas, and contributed to shaping the overall user experience.
Starting with market research, I spent time exploring overall trends in the office leasing market in the post-Covid period. What are users’ needs? What are the key development dynamics?
This and other collected data allowed me to further refine and clarify our target audience, better understanding their key needs, motivations, and challenges.
I conducted a competitive analysis to evaluate competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, uncovering a wide range of approaches. This revealed clear opportunities for Noto Estate to deliver unique value to users.
I conducted my own research. First I created an interview guide to serve as a rubric during 1-on-1 interviews, focusing on user’s specifics and needs in booking and in general.
Based on the insights and needs discovered during my synthesis of primary research, I created a user persona-Alexandra.
How can we help Alexandra effectively and quickly make a booking, take into account, that she does it quite often?

With the help of a Venn diagram, I was able to map out a set of project goals by first identifying business and user goals individually, then establishing where those goals overlapped. The resulting shared goals gave me a way of assessing which ideas would be best suited for the needs of both Noto Estate and it’s users.

I created a user flow thinking through scenarios, that is shows user's path, this helped me moved on to prototyping more easier.
My research has shown that users use both the web and mobile pages and also the application to book office spaces, they consider the app more convenient for frequent usage of service.

I focused on the application and created several booking scenarios. When the user makes a one-time booking and when he has a membership. While applying the solutions that I found in my research give the advantages in convenience when using the application.
